About Size & Place

Size & Place publishes free planning tools that help you size and place home furnishings before you buy. The first tools are for ready-made curtains: how many panels and packs to buy, and which length fits.

Who runs this site

Size & Place is a website operated under the name Size & Place. There are currently no paid placements, affiliate links or ads on the site, and the calculators' results do not depend on any commercial arrangement: they come only from the numbers you enter and the published formulas.

How the tools are made

• The calculators are plain arithmetic that runs in your browser. The formulas, limits and sources are on the methodology page.
• Every worked example in the guides is calculated by the same code as the calculators, and automated tests check them before each release.
• We do not claim professional design or installation credentials. A product's own listing and instructions always take priority over our tools.
• There are no ads or affiliate links on the site today. See the affiliate disclosure.

Contact and corrections

Email hello@sizeandplace.com to report a mistake, suggest an improvement or ask a question.

If you are reporting a mistake, it helps to include:

• the page address,
• the numbers you entered and the units you used,
• the result you got and what you expected.

Please do not send personal information we do not need, such as your address or photos of your home. We check every reported mistake. If a correction changes a result, it is listed in the change log. How we handle email is explained in the privacy policy.
